Thank you for considering Conquest Literary Agency for representation. We are always interested in discovering compelling voices and manuscripts that demonstrate strong storytelling, clear purpose, and professional presentation.
Before submitting your work, please review the following guidelines to ensure your submission can be properly evaluated.
What We Are Looking For
We welcome submissions from authors who are serious about pursuing professional publishing opportunities.
We currently consider manuscripts in categories such as:
Fiction
Nonfiction
Memoir / Biography
Business and Personal Development
Inspirational / Faith-Based works
Selected genre fiction
Please ensure that your manuscript is complete and carefully reviewed before submitting.
Submission Requirements
To help us evaluate your work efficiently, please include the following materials with your submission:
1. Query Letter
A brief introduction that includes:
- Your name
- The title of your manuscript
- Genre and word count
- A short description of your book
- A brief author biography
2. Synopsis
A concise summary of your manuscript (approximately 1–2 pages).
3. Manuscript Sample
Please include the first 10–20 pages of your manuscript or the first chapter.
For nonfiction projects, you may include:
- A short proposal or overview
- Sample chapter(s)
Formatting Guidelines
Please submit your materials using standard manuscript formatting:
Microsoft Word document (.doc or .docx preferred)
12-point readable font (such as Times New Roman)
Double-spaced text
Standard margins
Professional Standards
We encourage authors to submit manuscripts that are polished and ready for professional consideration. Submissions should be complete, well-structured, and thoughtfully prepared.
Response Time
Due to the number of submissions we receive, please allow 4–8 weeks for a response. If your project aligns with our current interests, we may contact you for additional materials.
If you do not receive a response within this timeframe, it simply means that we are unable to move forward with the project at this time.
